公共交通オープンデータ協議会（会長：坂村 健、INIAD cHUB 東洋大学情報連携学 学術実業連携機構・機構長）は、カナダを本拠地とする交通データに関する世界的な非営利団体 MobilityData と、2022年に締結した覚書（MoU）を更新しました。MobilityDataは、日本国内でも採用が進む、鉄道やバス等の公共交通データの標準フォーマット GTFS や、シェアサイクル等のマイクロモビリティの標準フォーマット GBFS の標準化を推進する団体です。
本覚書において、公共交通オープンデータ協議会とMobilityDataは、オープンデータを通じた持続可能なモビリティサービスの拡大を目指し、知識の共有とコラボレーションのための戦略的パートナーシップを更新することに合意しました。今後、以下における協力を予定しています。
- オープン仕様と標準規格、オープンデータ、持続可能な都市交通に関する知識の共有
- 日本を含むアジアにおけるオープン仕様と標準規格の利用促進の協力
- 様々な環境におけるオープンな交通データの機会と前提条件の探究、特に都市における標準化の機会の受け入れの支援
- 日本を含むアジアで広く採用される可能性のある持続可能な交通サービスの共通フレームワークの開発の支援
- モビリティ分野およびデータ駆動のモビリティシステムにおけるEBPM（エビデンスに基づく政策立案）の、共同アドボカシーおよび啓発キャンペーンによる支援
- 都市交通コミュニティや他の関連ステークホルダー、さらに広範なビジネスコミュニティを対象としたワークショップ、ラウンドテーブル、ウェビナー、イベントなどの知識共有イベントの開催
MobilityData and ODPT Continue Strategic Partnership With Renewed Memorandum of Understanding
Both organizations will continue to cooperate to support knowledge-sharing, collaboration for sustainable mobility services, and wide use of open data in the mobility ecosystem.
June 12, 2024, Montreal, Quebec, Canada — MobilityData and the Japan-based Association for Open Data of Public Transportation (ODPT) are thrilled to announce a renewed commitment to a strategic partnership by renewing their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), originally signed in 2022.
Both organizations are committed to smart and sustainable transitions in cities, societies, and industries, with a focus on mobility and open data. Because of these shared commitments, the two parties have agreed to renew their strategic partnership to boost knowledge-sharing and collaboration, aiming to drive progress and expand sustainable mobility services through the use of open data.
